What will a five user license give me
Job Cost Pro is
licensed for a particular number of concurrent users. This means that
the product could be installed on say 8 computers on your local area
network. If you have a 5 user license then the first five to logon from
any computer get access to Job Cost Pro.
Where is the software installed
Normally all files (programs and data) are loaded on your
server. Each PC does normally needs only the runtime libraries installed
to support the operation of JCP.
What documents are required to
support the setup of JCP
- Chart of accounts from MYOB
- Current Invoice, Delivery docket, Job Card and Purchase Order Layouts
- Details of any management reports that are required
What about Data Conversion
- Suppliers, customers, stock and GL account codes can be brought across
easily from MYOB
- Stock may come from a third party source ie Excel spread sheet or ascii
file.
- The Assemblies / Stock data needs to exported from MYOB and emailed to
us for import review
How are customers added to
MYOB
Customers can be added to JCP as required, these are then rolled into
MYOB during the update process. The same applies to suppliers.
Are there any setup issues in MYOB
Customer and supplier records in MYOB need to be set as companies (Not
individuals) and all commas removed from the title name.
